About the feeling of use, The rubber cap seals the opening of the Takegawa speed sensor controller from all the dust and moisture it comes in contact with under the seat. I feel confident of these electronics lasting a long time as long as I refit this cover after making adjustments. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the rubber cap from SP Takegawa, made form a soft and flexable silicon rubber with a perfect fit to seal the opening.About the feeling of use: My previously owned FI CON 2 injection controller was missing the rubber cap and I was concerned that dust or moisture may enter the opening and damage the electronics. Very happy that replacement parts are readily available from SP Takegawa.Products to buy together: While we are looking to protect the electronics it would also be desirable to purchase a meter protective film from DRC for the JC61 model Grom.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes less than 5 minute, removing the seat is needed to access the FI CON 2 and then the rubber cap simply pushes into place. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a quality replacement part that could save you hundreds of dollars in a replacement injection controller if it was to become damaged from dust of water entering the opening. Specifically designed and the only other option would be to bag the entire unit for protection.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my perferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently unavailable due to Japan Post.
