Q: Does this light require any wiring or splicing?
A: No. This tail light is completely plug-and-play， meaning that there is no need for wire cutting， splicing， or soldering. Just plug it in and you're done.
Q: Do I have to do any cutting?
A: No - no permanent modifications to your Yamaha WR250R are required.
Q: Do I need a relay?
A: Installing this tail light will cause your signals to flash at a faster rate than what is considered to be normal. Load balancing resistors can be wired in to fix the problem， and are included at no additional charge. If you want a plug and play option that doesn't require any wiring， then you will want to purchase the relay. In our opinion， we highly recommend purchasing the relay， especially if you do not feel comfortable doing wiring on your bike. It's easy to install and we even have an installation video for it in our Videos Tab. You can save some cash on your relay purchase buy using the Buy Together option for a special bundled discount.
Q: Why did I receive a relay and resistors?
A: We include resistors with every purchase. If you opted to add in a relay， you will receive both; however， you must not install both. ONLY install the relay - you can discard the resistors.
Q: Is it bright?
A: Yes - our tail lights are extremely bright. This particular tail light is designed with 66 super bright LEDs so you can be sure your light will be visible during the daytime as well as at night. This goes for both our clear and smoked lens options.
