It utilizes a hand-finished carbon fiber cover with a honeycomb exhaust protection structure, reflecting Akrapovic racing DNA. The design is finished with a red and white Akrapovic logo.
The full exhaust system features an integrated design with a catalytic converter built into the header pipe. Advanced molding technology is used to ensure the system integrates seamlessly with the motorcycle lines.
The weight is reduced by 50.9% (1.4kg) compared to the OEM system.
Development focused on optimizing throttle response and performance. Internal dyno testing compared to a Honda CBR650R with an OEM exhaust showed an increase of 0.8kW (1.1hp) at 8200rpm and 0.8Nm at 7900rpm. It also features a deep, sporty sound.
