Aluminum Top Case Technical Details:
(1) Lightweight base plate connection: Uses Duracon pivots on the bottom to snap into a single base plate, significantly reducing total weight.
(2) Duracon pivot connection: Prevents metal-on-metal contact, reducing rattling sounds during operation. Components are replaceable.
(3) Secure sliding fixation: Lower locking hinges guide the Duracon pivots into the plate holes for secure mounting.
(4) Urethane inner liner: Lightweight, quick-drying, and removable for cleaning. Reduces noise from contents.
(5) Lid rails: 6 points on the upper lid for external cargo.
(6) Mounting hardware included: Compatible with standard grid-style carriers using included wave plates, stainless bolts, nylon lock nuts, and washers. Requires 5mm HEX wrench and 10mm spanner.
(7) Double frame opening: Increases rigidity and acts as an inner liner holder.
(8) Weatherproofing: 10mm thick silicone weather strip in the lid frame ensures a tight seal.
