It's not that bad, and you can substitute a Gum Tape if you want.
Since they are inexpensive, I feel like I can replace them every time just to be safe.
The Rim Band fit from the Tire size is listed in the BS Site for BS.

When I replaced the Tire of SEROW225 WE, I replaced it with Tube and so on.
If you use it for a long time, the Valve hole will be cut off, so you should replace it regularly.
Or you can keep it as a spare in your toolbox in case you run out.

In the case of tube exchange, let's also exchange rim bands together! It will become fairly tattering in about 2-3 years.

I think that tension condition is well considered when the wheel of a rim band is equipped although it is layman's appraisal.
Isn't it better to exchange only rim bands, once it is reluctant tube exchange in the case of a tire change?
Because it thinks now that permeation of the moisture which leads to degradation of a rubber protects very much.
