I use a PC20carburetor on my 4MINI and I combined it with K&N's air filter.
I did not use the Filter oil that came with it.
The reason was that the Carburetor setting was about to change.
Compared to the Sponge type air filter, the intake noise during acceleration will be a little quieter.
In terms of performance, it will extend a little at high rpm.

It's a small price to pay when compared to the cracked and shabby appearance of Rubber in a few months.
If you buy the large capacity detergent and oil for maintenance, you can use it a lot of times.

I changed my exhaust system for my Kawasaki z125 pro and maintained the stock air box. No different in performance but, once i changed to this air filter, immediately i can feel the difference in acceleration and i also bought a Takegawa filter cover.

I chose K&N from a number of air filters.
I use it on my PC20 Carburetor.
The filter is a wet type which is soaked with the attached oil. A small amount of the oil soaks into the capillaries, and the oil soaks into the Beauty. Maintenance is a little expensive, but the K&N's exclusive Cleaner and Oil Quantity is included in the price.:There is a maintenance set, which is especially recommended for those who value performance, because MONKEY's Filter size is long enough to use the maintenance set.

The process was completed in 2 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The K&N air filter is more pricey to purchase then most pod style air filter but they do state they have a lifetime use design. So if maintained will last you much longer and end up cheaper then constantly purchasing disposable paper air filters.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, If you a researching a particular size air filter for a custom intake you can use the K&N website to assist with measurements.
