BK-065 GORE-TEX (R) Kurze Stiefel

Komine BK-065 Gore Tex(R) short boots is comfortable and is able to keep your feet dry during wet rainy days. The toe area of the shoes fades easily as I have only wear this shoe for less than a year. The rubber sole will still cause you to slip if walking on wet and metal surface. The boots are easily worn and taken off in case you are rushing for time. As this shoe is still nice for daily work if you don't mind the fading color.

I bought it to match my motorcycle. The picture was taken at 4000kms, 8 months after purchase.

[Appearance]
It doesn't look like a typical motorcycle gear so I used it on occasions other than riding my motorcycle during the winter.
I like it where it doesn't make you look like a typical biker when you're off the bike.
The leathery part isn't made from the same material. The arch and the sides are made from genuine leather but for other parts, synthetic leather is used. It didn't bother me at first but as time goes by, the color of texture started to bother me.

[Performance]
Not as much as I expected.

First I'd like to inform you with the usability. The shoelaces easily get loose. They lack performance not only as shoelaces for motorcycle shoes but even for shoelaces for ordinary shoes.
The upper side of the shoe is designed with three hooks to reduce the hassle of lacing up. However they come off easily because the shoelaces get loose easily.
As other customers have noted, the shift lever isn't equipped with shift pad. It may be to improve the appearance but that's no excuse after all they are made for motorcycles.

About water-resistance. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but in the cold winter climate, it didn't soak on melting snow and offered great performance.

About ventilation. Due to the fabric used on the side, you can feel ventilation in the winter but not in the summer. So I wouldn't say it has good ventilation.
If you can overlook small things, you'll be able to use it for both summer and winter which is a benefit.

[Others]
It's cheap and looks great but has disadvantages that lack consideration for motorcycle use. I don't think they're worth the cost.
Forgive me to say this but I doubt customers expect luxury from KOMINE products. With a better combination of materials, I'm sure they'll be able to manufacture convenient products that are cheap but have KOMINE quality.

Whether or not I recommend it...Well if you're practical about it. It's no problem. But to be honest with you, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you use Danner Light for Motorcycle, dirt and scratches will become conspicuous and you will find this Boots of cheaper with similar Specifications. I purchased it expecting the strength of Gore-Tex. First of all, on rainy days we demonstrate Waterproof similar to Danner Light and pass. The comfort is reasonable. It's light but you can feel stiffness and walk without anxiety. The shame is that the quality is cheap. When the skins of the heel rubbed, the surface easily peeled off, and the patch of leather was stuck by oneself. Even if it gets a little high I wanted you to make it with genuine leather. Since the string was unpopular, I used a different one from the time of purchase. In conclusion, I think that it is a product that can be used as a drill for Motorcycle although it is Repairing.
