This Kitaco Cam Chain Tensioner Cap is the weakest part of the Monkey 125. The stock OEM Tension caps have been shown to deteriorate unusually fast and disable your engine. With the installation of the Kitaco Tensioner cap that worry is eliminated and you will require a Left side Crankcase gasket to complete the installation. When I opened up the left side of the motor on a stock motor you could see the OEM tensioner cap was the weak link in the mechanism and is a must to be upgraded for any increase in power and revs. I found the installation of the cap onto the rod very tight but eventually went on with a few good hits. Since buying this item from Kitaco I found Takegawa also have an upgraded cap which I would have bought it I knew.
