Great value for a replacement headlight.
The light is heavy. It adds a noticeable weight to the front end. It makes the steering feel hard and sluggish. It affects the balance and feel of the chassis. I rode 35 miles of intermediate single track and hated the feel so much, I took it off and put it in my pack. A friend in our group had the same light on his 450 xcf-w and took it off for the same reasons.This light would be amazing except for one problem. It is angled up so high that the beam shoots way up into the sky. How that passed research and design is beyond me. I went to lowes and got some longer screws and plastic spacers and it helped a lot. The main concentration of the beam though is not on the trail it's ridiculously up in the air if you don't modify it.The positive. It’s plug and play. Very easy to install. It is of high quality! It’s very bright. It might be just fine if you were willing to ride enough and get used to it.This light is not for the technical single track rider or desert whoop blaster. It is best for Dual Sport or Novice trail riding. This is my very humble opinion.
