I ordered a center stand for my 03 Honda CTX and realized that this center stand stopper was totally essential, or the drive chain would hit the stand. It was easy to install, I read about a tip to use a hardened mounting bolt so the stopper does not move due to the force of the stand ramming it. We will see if that helped. Overall, very happy with Webbike service!

Great part, easy instructions with pictures. Took 5 min to install with Allen wrench. This is a must when installing OEM center stand.

The screw that came with the stopper was too short and the center stand kept on touching my foot while riding so I had to buy another screw 1 inch longer and an extra nut to adjust to the desired hight.

This item works very well with a CTX700D or CTX700N but it needs something to stop the shock of the center stand hitting it. My first one broke off because of the shock on the bolt holding the bracket on caused the bolt to break. This is the same bolt that holds the center stand pivot shaft in place and the pivot shaft came loose on my bike. I have seen that some people have used a short piece of hose on the head of the bolt held on by a thin hose clamp. the short bit of hose take the shock.

I get this item, and I will install HONDA CTX700. Maybe it is fittingit is very good qualityBut I think, if it were add to rubber, more good.
