I will never own a bike without a kickstand again. I have not missed always searching for a triangle or packing a triangle with me each trip to ride. No complaints so far and it has easily been at least a year since I bought the kickstand and finally completing this review.Took me one ride with my beginner son to realize I was going to be getting off my bike a lot and really needed a kick stand. I looked a lot at different kick stands and read reviews and felt like the trail tech was the best options. It looks great and I really like how it mounts and does not contact my side plate. Installation was straightforward and relatively easy. Make sure you have a spring puller. There was no way I could have got this on without one.Other people have complained about the kickstand being too tall and I think this is a fair complaint.. It's not of the verge of ever tipping over on flat ground and I actually prefer it on uneven terrain out on the trail. Only time it is inconvenient in my opinion, is maybe on the driveway. I have to make sure the kickstand is down hill, otherwise it doesn't have enough lean to go uphill. My only reason for not giving full score on the durability is because I don't think the plastic foot will last forever. It's nice that it doesn't scratch up my epoxy floor in the garage, but metal may be best in the outdoors. Haven't had any problems yet, but I am sure it will break or wear through one day. I installed with Loctite and to the recommended torque spec and nothing has ever come loose on me like a few reviewers had happen. Overall, it has been great. Very happy with this.
