About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the machined aluminium tappet breather cover from SP Takegawa. The tappet cover, banjo fitting and banjo bolt are all machined from aluminium with the tappet cover being finished in chrome plating and the banjo fitting and banjo bolt being finished with blue and red anodising respectively.About the feeling of use: The highly detailed tappet cover looks great against the silver painted head on the Monkey 125 and the additional feature to allow pressure to vent from the head is also ideal when increasing the engines performance.Products to buy together: An additional matching tappet cover for the lower side would also be desirable to purchase alongside the machined aluminium tappet breather cover but I am yet to find one available.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 15 minutes, remove the OEM Honda tappet cover then lightly lubricate the new included O-Ring and install on the tappet breather cover. Attach the sealing washer on either side of the banjo fitting and tighten down the banjo bolt. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a highly detailed and useful tappet cover as compared to the ordinary tappet cover available from most bands but the price is much high so it really depends if you need the feature of venting the head. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: It looks that the chrome plated tappet cover is no longer available which is disappoints as this finish does suit all the different coloured Monkey 125s unlike the red and gold anodised finishes that are now only available.

I originally purchased some G Craft finned tappet covers that look great but I now need the function of venting some pressure from the head of the engine due to the increased compression that will come from the pending installation of the big bore kit. There are a few options to install to achieve this but found that this Special Parts Takegawa option to be the most cost effective. I wanted to purchase the kit that also included the lower chrome tappet cover but to my disappointment that kit has now been discontinued. The single cover kit comes complete with everything you need and as a bonus also includes a new o-ring which G Craft did not include.
