Great product for all chains and even better for oil ring chains.
Motion pro makes great tools. Thanks to Webike, I'm quick to pick up and try. Since getting this tool, I've made loads of chains for myself and others. Good build quality on tools and parts. If you see criticism of people breaking and hurting ropes... just ignore them. 99% of these people did not disassemble the tool when they received it and greased all the threaded parts. This tool can be put under a great deal of pressure during use. Screws exposed to high pressure during operation must be lubricated. The tool works flawlessly. Another tip is that if you are breaking a riveted joint, sand the pin heads flush with the side plate before trying to push the pins out, as you will need to replace it in any way. This takes pretty much all the stress on the tool's pin driver as you don't have to push a cork pin down a smaller hole. It takes just 10 seconds with a grinder to grind each of these mushroom chain pins flush with the side plate. The storage box is well made and compact enough to carry with you when you travel if you want. Worth the extra money because it makes the job so much easier.
