Robust but troublesome to put on and take off
I used it for about 5 years.
Hard gullies, not used in rock Sections.
Here's how it feels on a regular MXCourse and XCRace.
It prevented most of the attacks from the bottom.
The material is also made of very strong aluminum material, so there is no large deformation or cracks.
So far, it hasn't distorted or shifted the mounting holes.
It is made by E.E. of trust. It is very strong.
When I removed it and checked it, there was almost no Damage to the Under frame.
That's why it weighs so much. I'm sorry, I haven't measured it, but it's probably around 3kg.
It is more weighty than ZETA's Skid plate though it compares with other car models.
The ZETA one isn't particularly poor either, but I think the E.E. one is more robust and heavier.
This is a trade-off for robustness.
The guard range of the bottom and the front is enough, but the guard around the horizontal water pump and the generator cover is not done.
However, the Guard sticks out to the side somewhat, so if it's not a Pinpoint attack, I feel like that overhang will provide a bit of protection.
And since a lot of mud clogs up this overhang at the time of muddy, I think it is better to take measures by putting Sponge or something. Mud will stick to the front as well.
As for installation, the front is installed using the two OEM screw holes.
At the rear, the bracket is tightened with two Hexagon bolts, which is very troublesome.
If you don't hold the Bracket from the top, the Hexagon Bolt will not go in.
There is a hole for Oil for Replacement on the plate, but the oil makes the bottom of the skid plate soaked with oil, and I couldn't turn the drain bolt without removing the plate with my tools. It took me a long time to put it on.
I used one or two long and thin tools to install the bracket, but since it's a racer, I need to change the oil frequently, and it was too much trouble to look under the car body and adjust the screw position.
Since this is a place where mud and water accumulate, it is cleaned and replaced periodically to maintain the adhesive strength.
It may be strong in strength, but I wonder if it was not possible to make a spec. that uses the OEM screw holes as they are.
However, its original purpose, defensive capability, is quite high.
The price is also reasonable, so if you can get used to the hassle of removing and installing, it is definitely a Recommendation Part.
