[How is it used?
Used on FTR223.
Applications:Street riding, Touring, Circuit riding
Used for about a year. (Grip was also replaced along with Handlebar replacement.)

Was the installation difficult?
This is not a difficult task, but it requires hang when inserting it into Handlebar.
at that time (2009) The bonded grip is secure, but on the throttle tube side, the bond tends to stick to the inside of the throttle tube, and when I changed this grip, I felt it very strongly, so I started to fix the grip with the wiring.

At the time, my main use was for touring, and I wanted to use a soft grip that would reduce vibration as much as possible.
For touring use, I think it was less fatiguing and more suited to my idea of large changes. Also, the less fatigue I had, the more I was able to concentrate on riding, which I think led to safer driving.
I'm glad that the red color matches the white body.
Life was fine after about a year of use and still seemed to work.

Point and hang of installation
The Throttle side is fixed with 3 wires to kill Gap.
At that time, insertion into Handlebar is done with Parts cleaner (Fast drying) This is done by the method of inner surface lubrication with compressed air + insertion with compressed air.

If you don't want to use an air compressor, you can use a medium-dry parts cleaner to insert the parts slowly and forcefully.

If you want to fix it with Wiring.

RecommendationBond is Cemedine's SUPERX.
It is solvent-free, so you don't have to worry about the grips melting, and the drying time is moderate, so you can work in plenty of time. (Throttle tube) Apply a thin layer to both. (Apply to both to make it slippery.)
Let it dry a little before inserting the Grip.

Motive for purchasing
