IXIL IRONHEAD HC1-2 Left and Right Dual Slip-on Exhaust
Unfortunately this set of mufflers didn't quite meet my expectations.They are a great muffler, they sound great and look amazing but aren't quite suited to what I wanted.I was expecting the muffler that is shown in the main image when ordering, a shiny chrome straight pipe with angled tip.The mufflers that arrived are brushed stainless steel with a flat tip and angled cone at the end that connects to the exhaust pipes.The other small problem with the mufflers is the main stand and side stand. Neither really fit with the muffler. The left hand side muffler has a bracket for the main stand, but the main stand then is too low, and affects cornering. I damaged my main stand on the first ride with the new mufflers, as they were grazed on the ground.There is no bracket for the smaller side stand - which just rests against the muffler, creating an indentation in the stainless steel.I am not happy with the mufflers, and would have not have bought them had I known what I know about them now.I will be selling these mufflers and buying a Moriwaki 4 into 4 system.Live and learn I guess.
