Genuine Yamaha Con Rod bolt nuts for YZF-R1 2003
These were the second part of the connnection bolt replacement that needed completing. I also purchased the connection bolts for this project and went for the genuine Yamaha nuts to go with. I found the part number for these nuts by using the Yamaha schematics and cross referencing via Webike tools. The cost was very good and as I was getting a full set of 8, they were great value. With some other parts for this bike the cost of shipping by EMS was great. Delivered to my door in 5 days with no messing around. Everything was well packed out inside the box and any smaller parts were protected in bubble wrap as required. These nuts are not particualrly special although they are a very fine thread. They even have a locking compound inside which I was a little surpised at. Good forethought from Yamaha for that one. Now begins the task of rebuilding the old girl for her to be back to her old racy self. Thank you Webike.
