Genuine Yamaha Oil Pump Cover for YZF-R6 2008
The oil pump cover for this bike had seen better days and really needed to be replaced. At some point it had taken an impact but not so bad that it totally broke the cover. As this bike was getting some attention I decided now would be a great time to just fix it correctly. The part was easy to find using Yamaha schematics. Webike had a sale on teh OEM Yamaha parts so this worked out even better.A couple of other parts were already in my order and shipped with EMS all arrived in super condition in 5 days.The oil pump cover does look really nice and the factory paint finish is flawless. The colour is a nice satin black which is pretty much standard with bikes of this age. The edges are all crisp and clean, there are no burrs or shards left in the inner casing. The holes all align just as they should. I already had a spare gasket for this cover so I got all the parts needed to fix once and for all. I am now looking at how much it would cost to replce some of the other casings as that would be the eventual goal for this beauty. Thank you Webike, top job.
