About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the sports camshaft from SP Takegawa, wonderful machining throughout and great quality bearings fitted. About the feeling of use: I was looking for a camshaft to make the 125cc engine higher revving which it has and I'm really happy with how it performs on the open road with no real loss of power in the lower RPMs which is ideal for around town. Products to buy together: Some type of fuel controller is needed to be purchase along side the sports camshaft, the SP Takegawa FICON 2 is well suited to this type of performance modification. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour, was an easy job to complete after reading through the Honda service manual directions. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing, the cheapest high RPM camshaft available here on Webike is the Endurance hi-power camshaft but does not look to have a power curve anywhere near as good. About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght is my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost and it is fantastic that it has returned as an option once again so I can put my money toward parts and not high shipping costs. Webike kept me updated on the status of my order up to when it shipped. The parcel arrived within the expected date range and was well packaged with no chance of the part being damaged. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing: Webike has many camshaft to choose from and the choice is difficult, much research is required to get as close as possible to your desired performance outcome.

Beautifully manufactured camshaft, the detail can be seen in the machining and choice of Japanesse bearing used.About the feeling of use - I was very happy using this camshaft with the 125cc and even more so after going to the 181cc. There is very little to no loss of power down low and an increase in the mid to higher RPM. Perfect for everyday riding.Products to buy together - Since the camshaft is now creating more power in the high RPM the cam chain is now being worked hard. An upgraded cam chain tensioner arm is a great product to purchase together.Difficulty of installation - I found the installation of the camshaft challenging but achievable on my own. There is a lot involved from start to finish with this install but if you do some research and follow the instruction provided you can be completed in an hour.Cost performance and comparison with other products - The pricing of this one is middle of the range but I was happy to pay the extra dollars to get the very little to no loss of power down low which not all camshafts will give you.About shipping and packaging - I think Webike are doing their best with shipping pricing, so I'm happy. Packages ship within 24 hours and arrive very quickly from Japan.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Don't just purchase the cheapest camshaft thinking you will be satisfied with the end result. Do some research and don't be worried about spenting a little extra to get the result you are after.

There are lots of camshafts available for the Honda Monkey 125 engine platform but you really need to decide how you want the engine to perform for how you use the motorcycle. The Special Parts Takegawa sports camshaft is a good option for maintaining the power in the lower RPM range and also giving you more power in a higher RPM range then the OEM Honda camshaft does. Having the option to transfer the decompression mechanism from the OEM Honda camshaft over to the Special Parts Takegawa camshaft is a nice option indeed to put less strain on the battery and starter which no other brand offers from what I could see. Price is a little above average for a Honda Monkey 125 camshaft but worth it in my opinion.
