Products to buy together, If you are looking to get every bit of performance out of the original air cleaner box then it would be ideal to add the larger diameter air duct to your cart also. Difficulty of installation, I can say the fitment of the air filter for my installation was very easy due to the ease of access to the cover of the air cleaner box that needs to be removed before simply placing the air filter in and installing the cover to secure the air filter in place. Cost performance and comparison with other products, The pricing of the product is great. You receive two air filter elements made from quality sponge that can be cleaned and reused for thousands of miles. No addition cleaning and oiling kits required like some of the other brands. About shipping and packaging, My order was shipped within 48 hours of me placing the order and I received a few emails advising me of the status up until the order was dispatched. The air cleaner housings is made from very durable plastic while one air cleaner element is made from a course sponge for race use and the other from a fine sponge for street use.About the feeling of use: Very happy to have an increase in performance while being able to maintain the same level of intake noise as the OEM Honda setup.Products to buy together: A full exhaust system would also be desirable to purchase alongside the air cleaner and air cleaner element to maximise the performance from the Grom.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 20 minutes, remove and set aside the OEM Honda screws and after fitting the air cleaner use the included screws to secure the thicker air cleaner housing. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a durable and high quality part with easy to clean air cleaner elements as compared to the more expensive pleated mesh style from the likes of K&N that require a special cleaning and oiling kit.About shipping and packaging: Sea freight was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. The process was completed in 15 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, There is a much cheaper option from Koso for the same designed air cleaner but it does only come with a coarse foam filter which may not your riding environment but I prefer the air cleaner from SP Takegawa as it comes with the two different grade filter elements.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 8 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, The foam filter elements used in this air cleaner are a dry type and are not to be oiled, this is something that should be considered before purchasing.
