Great for touring. Try a few different positions on the bar in a parking lot before you take it out
I've used a few variations of throttle assist grips over the years and so far this has been my personal favorite. The full palm grip doesn't make a huge difference but it gives you a bit more feel than some of the smaller surface area grips out there.They all work but for a few extra bucks I personally prefer having more surface area under my hand to work with to control my throttle.This little price of plastic has made long trips a helluva lot less taxing on my wrist and the occasional numbness is pretty much gone. You just let your hand rest on it and it keeps the throttle where you need it.DO take your time getting the angle on this thing EXACTLY where you want it and ride it around a parking lot a few times before you get out into traffic. I almost pitched my bike up into a wheelie the first time I tried it out. You want it angled just slightly up from where your hand rests on the handlebars.
